SOME Might Say that Scotland's football heroes will have The Masterplan to enjoy glory at this summer's European Championships.

On the opening night of the tournament, Steve Clarke and his men will aim to put in a Supersonic effort and kick off the much-anticipated competition with a memorable victory over host nation Germany in Munich.

Whilst there will be thousands of the Tartan Army in Bavaria to cheer on the national side, fans at home can roar them on from KDM Group East End Park - and be whipped into a frenzy by Definitely Oasis.

The acclaimed tribute to the iconic Manchester band have been announced as the headline act the Dunfermline City Fan Zone ahead of the first match of Euro 2024 on Friday June 14.

Regarded as the ultimate tribute act by fans and promoters worldwide, Definitely Oasis are set to get fans in the mood to watch the Scots take on Germany by delivering an authentic and electrifying experience reminiscent of Oasis' iconic performances.

Some of their legendary hits, including also including Don't Look Back in Anger and Wonderwall, could be belted out in the build-up to kick off at the Allianz Arena.

Definitely Oasis have developed a loyal following, and have sold out shows at renowned venues across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Australia, and the band's Brian McGhee commented: "We are absolutely thrilled to be part of the Dunfermline City Fan Zone and to kick off this incredible football celebration.

"Bringing the music of Oasis to such a unique event is a privilege, and we can’t wait to share the energy and nostalgia with everyone attending. Get ready for an unforgettable night of music, football, and pure Oasis magic!"

Alister Burn, Dunfermline Athletic's commercial manager, said: "We are really excited to welcome Definitely Oasis to kick off the opening night of the Dunfermline City Fan Zone.

"The guys are incredibly talented, and their music will create an amazing atmosphere in the build-up to the opening match with everyone of all ages being able to sing along to their iconic anthems."

Up to 3,000 supporters will be accommodated within the Norrie McCathie Stand, which will have a dedicated family section, to watch Scotland's matches between June 14-23, during which time they also face Switzerland and Hungary.

Two "festival-style" LED screens will be set up at either side of the pitch, and event production company, Sparq, have been announced as the fan zone's streaming partner.

With more than 20 years' expertise, with clients including the likes of the NHS, Royal Mail, Odeon Events and the Leeds Rhinos rugby league side, they will provide two 28-square-metre screens for the duration of the fan zone.

Mr Burn said: "Their commitment to delivering exceptional experiences aligns perfectly with our goal of creating an exciting event for the city.

"Collectively, the two screens are designed to accommodate between 6-7,000 people, so even with a full Norrie McCathie stand of 3,000, we have gone bigger and better to create an amazing viewing experience for everyone, no matter what vantage you have."
