FANS can secure their seat at Scotland's largest fan zone for this summer's European Championships with tickets now on sale.

In Thursday's Press, we revealed that plans to use KDM Group East End Park as a venue for supporters to gather and watch Scotland pit their wits at the tournament were at an advanced stage.

The 'unique' Dunfermline City Fan Zone is due to run over 10 days, from June 14-23, taking in the three matches Steve Clarke's side will play in Germany.

They open the tournament against the hosts, before taking on Switzerland five days later on June 19, with their group campaign concluding against Hungary on June 23.

Up to 3,000 people will be able to watch on during each day the fan zone is operational from the Norrie McCathie Stand, which will have a dedicated family area, with festival-style LED screens installed at either side.

A stage will also be erected for other forms of entertainment, including interviews, bands and DJs, whilst there will also be food trucks and stalls, a fully licensed bar, and other activities and entertainment, including face painting, Playstation and Xbox and table football for kids.

It is also hoped that, outwith the dates of Scotland's matches, the fan zone will be utilised for other events for the community, most of which will be free to attend, with ideas including a Fife food festival, an outdoor movie night, a concert, and offerings for youngsters.

Single match tickets for Scotland's games can be bought online at a new dedicated website for the fan zone - dunfermlinecityfanzone.com - priced at £15 for adults, £12 for under-12s, and £8 for under-eights.

A three-match pass is also available, priced at £35 for adults, £30 for under-18s, and £15 for under-12s.

In addition, all supporters buying a ticket for any of the three Scotland matches will be eligible to travel to and from East End on the day of the game for free with Stagecoach, with their East Coast Day Rider Ticket.

The club, who will reach out to residents living around the stadium with further communication and a consultation event, to be announced in due course, have been discussing the prospect of hosting a fan zone in recent months with Fife Council.

Fife Council's emergency resilience manager, Shona Robertson, said: "Dunfermline Athletic Football Club have been consulting with us to create a fan zone at East End Park for Euro 2024.

"We're supporting them to get the licenses they'll need, as well as advising on other aspects of planning such a large scale event."
