DUNFERMLINE will play Brechin City in the Irn-Bru Cup third round after the draw was made this afternoon.
Former Pars boss Jim Jefferies helped conduct the draw, which was seeded and regionalised into north and south sections, and has handed Allan Johnston's team a trip to Glebe Park on the weekend of September 3-4.
The competition, otherwise known as the Challenge Cup, will see representatives from the Northern Irish and Welsh leagues enter at the fourth round stage as part of a summer re-design by the SPFL.

North Section:
Alloa v East Fife
Brechin City v Pars
Dundee United v Peterhead
Turriff United v Hibernian
Falkirk v Elgin City
Forfar v Raith Rovers.
South Section:
Queen of the South v Stenhousemuir
Stranraer v Dumbarton
Livingston v Celtic Colts
Albion Rovers v St Mirren
Ayr United v Airdrie
Queen's Park v Morton.
