GREEN-fingered volunteers are being sought to help in the EATS Rosyth Community Garden and Orchard.

The charity is looking for new recruits to help them with their plans for the site on Park Road.

Volunteer Co-ordinator Derek Henderson said anyone was welcome to come along.

"Whether you're a horticultural expert, or can't tell the difference between a rake and a radish, there will be opportunities for you to get your hands dirty, in a pleasant environment, with a great group of people - we've something for everyone," he said.

"There's no better place to be on a pleasant sunny day. We're on the lookout for anyone who can give up a small amount of time to support us - you don't have to come every week, and you don't have to stay for the full sessions - just whatever works for you.

"We're also looking for any local businesses who want to do team-building or volunteering days for their staff - these were really popular last year."

Volunteer sessions run on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10am and 1pm. Anyone interested in finding out more is asked to email Derek@EATSRosyth.org.uk.
