Plans to add an outdoor seating area at a bar and bistro in Dalgety Bay have been approved by Fife Council.
The owners of Louie Brown’s had applied for a change of use of land at the side of the restaurant and bar to create an outdoor seating area. The intention is that the land will initially be leased from the Dalgety Community Trust.
The outdoor seating is expected to be open for customers from 9.30am to 10pm, seven days a week.

As previously reported in the Press, the plans for the external terrace include outdoor heaters, lighting, retractable awnings, and monoblock paving.
While full planning permission has been granted, one of Fife Council's conditions of approval is that 10 off-street parking spaces will be created within the boundary of the site. Planning permission will be required for the parking.
This was deemed a requirement in the interest of road safety, and to ensure the provision of adequate off-street parking.
