A visit to Fife to stay with a friend ended up with a drugs conviction for a 24-year-old man.
Robbie Muir, of Burnside Avenue, Easthouses, near Dalkeith, appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court.
He admitted that on April 14 at Belleknowes Industrial Estate, Inverkeithing, he was in possession of cannabis.
Depute fiscal Brogan Moffat said the amount involved was 45 grams of with an estimated value of around £400.
Defence solicitor Stephen Morrison said: “He was travelling to Fife to stay with a friend when he was caught with the drugs.”
Sheriff David Hall fined Muir £320.
