A SPECIAL spook night took place in Dalgety Bay for the inaugural Galloween event.
The Halloween themed walk along the coastal path provided some scary fun for all ages with over 900 participants choosing to travel the family friendly 'Galaweenie' route or the more scary 'Route of Terror'.
The event was a joint venture between the Dalgety Bay and Hillend Gala team and the Aberdour and Dalgety Bay Girlguiding group and proceeds were split between the two causes.
Entertainment was provided along the way with regular performances from the Zodiac School of Dance and interactive theatrics from the Dalgety Bay Players.

Gala committee member Katrina Mason was delighted with the evening's success.
"It was our first year putting this on and were pretty nervous and didn't know how it was going to go. It turned out better than we have ever hoped for. The feedback has been so supportive so that had made all the hard work really worthwhile," she said.
"We did the event with the Aberdour and Dalgety Bay Girlguiding group and they were amazing. They took on quite a bit and it was great to be able to share that with them. We also had the support of the Zodiac Dance School who put on dance performances every half hour and the Dalgety Players did the performances within the route of terror.
"There were zombies and all sorts of clowns and undertakers. It was brilliant, interactive theatre.
"The kids came through and you could see their faces light up. It was just a phenomenal night. I think we will definitely be doing it again in some form."
