WEST FIFE schools danced up a storm at a local competition at Dunfermline High School last week.
Queen Anne, Beath, Dunfermline and Bell Baxter high school classes competed against each other to win the top dance prizes for their area.
Lisa Gibson, PE teacher at Dunfermline High School, said: "The girls were a credit to themselves. They performed to such a high standard and demonstrated great technique."
The annual competition brings together dance clubs from West Fife who work towards their performances at lunch time and after-school clubs.
Two judges from local dance clubs awarded medals for best dancer out of the 400 competitors and best class for each year.
Alexandra Chang, from Bell Baxter, won 'Dancer of the Day' and Molly Jameson, from Dunfermline High, was runner-up.
Other winners included: S1 – Dunfermline High School; S2 – Dunfermline High School; S3 – Bell Baxter High School; Seniors – Queen Anne High School.
