ST MARGARET'S Primary School playground has been targeted by vandals.
A play area within the school on Woodmill Road was singled out and saw numerous items damaged between 5pm on September 15 and 8am on September 16.
Fraser Gillan, headteacher, said: “Unfortunately, vandals accessed an outside play area and some minor damage was inflicted on a wooden play frame, a chute, a seating area for children and a shelter. We are, of course, very disappointed that this has happened.
“I would like to reassure local people that the safety of our pupils is our top priority and that we are working with Police Scotland to prevent anything like this happening again."
Those with information can contact Police Scotland on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
